Gator Robotics offers workshops that cover a number of robotics-related topics such as building circuits and using micro-controllers. Workshops focus on teaching robotics from a holistic/systems perspective, including lessons on the mechanical, electrical, and software sides of robot design. Designed to provide skills in CAD, micro-controller applications, and programming. Towards the end, Workshops creates a final project in order to allow participants a chance to use their new skills in these three areas.

This semester they have covered a broad range of topics, ranging from the basics of electronics to basic mechanical designs. They are moving into hands-on work sessions that will have competitions integrated into them. There will be incentives provided for the winners of the competitions.

If you want to join one of our teams, but you feel that you do not have enough experience, Workshops is a great opportunity to get exposed to the skills and knowledge that is needed to be part of any of our teams.
